KingSound is a worship outreach group whose desire is to reach the community through the power of sound and through personal connection. Coming from various music backgrounds and ages, KingSound presents diverse music styles to revive the hymns of old, the songs of this age, and to introduce new songs to come.
We are a ministry within "King's Cathedral and Chapels," a church in many locations. Our base is at King's Ozark in Ozark, MO, which is one of over 500 campuses around the world. We desire to serve the one true King through our musical influences and talents.
In essence, our "sound" has double meanings. The first is that as musicians, our desire is to reverberate the sound of worship, through awe-inspiring lyrics and creative melodies, to the local community.
Secondly, our heart is to serve like a geological "sound," which is specified as "a narrow stretch of water forming an inlet or connecting two wider areas of water." This serves as a picture of our calling: that our music will connect with our community, and ultimately, like living water, to the main source: Jesus Christ.
